Long Covid App hits 100

A milestone has been reached for Pogo Digital Healthcare's long term condition management app. We have now onboarded 106 people living with long covid to the new care pathway implemented in partnership with NHS Lothian and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS). 

Our application MyTailoredTalks underpins a new care pathway that starts in the GP's surgery and leads patients through a process of self-assessment, provides them with tailored information on their condition, and gives them the option to enter into up to 12 weeks of follow-up care with CHSS. 

Dr Amy Small, a key member of the team who created the care pathway, and long covid patient herself, commented; "It’s a big breakthrough in integrated care. It gives patients direct access to support to help manage their condition."

The service, which is currently going through a pilot process with 26 GP surgeries in NHS Lothian, will be rolled out to the rest of the health board from the 1st October 2022.
